About
Loopster is the home for stories reported, written and produced by graduate interactive journalism students at the Medill School. Loopster refers to Chicago’s Loop, where Medill’s graduate newsroom is located, which tends to be the students’ home-away-from-home during the program’s duration.
The Loopster approach is to look deeply into one news story per week and report beyond the breaking news to provide background, context and interesting facts on a current issue that impacts the Chicago area.
The staff of this edition of Chicago Loopster consists of: David Kashi, Carly Syms, Joanna Carver and Rachel MacDonald.
This site is a product of the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
